I guess it's time to finally for me to give some more specifications on why I'm having this much silence, now, do I?

Without going into any extreme details, but the general gist on why it's been a while are two major reasons:

  1. Working on C.A.S.T.L.E. project. There is a lot that has been needed to do within the current episode, requiring my full attention whenever I have free time, therefore the only times I can have my attention on the comic is on the breaks in between. It still had some progress as thumbnails of most of Issue 1 part 2 have been done and ready for more thorough sketching, and will be very likely doing that within this and the next week at least one or two times before shifting my focus back to finishing the animation related matters.
  2. As of this month forth, I'll be doing all of this from a very different place in comparison to where I am right now. Within the coming weeks I'm moving to another country and will be going through studying for animation to expand my knowledge of the field and recap on basics to help myself both rewire a little and give myself a chance to push further with my personal goals as a storyteller (which also include plans for the story touched upon in the fan-comic). It's going to be a challenging process of intergrating into a new environment and trying to get own footing, but it's worth every step of the way due to personal perspectives within it.

Now, what will it mean? Yes, the comic will still be in the works, and after the current episode of C.A.S.T.L.E. is finished, it should be less heavy loaded to work on it and shift attention more towards it. On top of that, because I will have to work my butt off to make sure I manage to sustain myself at a new place, I may end up opening commissions to support myself financially within my field of interests, even if it's not going to be by a large margin.

The details in relation to it will be revealed once I'm settled down and ready my portfolio, so for now it'll be a fair enough elaboration on where I'm at and why it's taking so long to post art here.

Hopefully I'll get a chance to update on this and more sooner than later!

Take care of yourselves, see ya in the next posting!

Okay, since it has been a short while since I last posted anything, I might as well adress this right now by at least providing a smal tidbit of insight on that.

First of all, to the few people who decided to follow me after seeing my comic - I can't thank you enough for even the smallest amount of attention and commentary you've been providing. To me, it's really fun to see how people feel about the plot and characters, which will always warm up the heart of an animator/storyteller. I'll be gladly anticipating more once new pages come out.

Now that I've said that, you probably wonder "Speaking of which, when is the update?" And I hear you. It will come, but perhaps, not at this very moment. I've started sketching part 2 and some people are already slowly helping me with inking and flat coloring, but for the time being it will be a slow process altogether.

The reasons to why are relatively simple.

For one, I'm working currently on the collaborative project that gets posted on Youtube, in which I handle the art and visuals and simpler animation style for an easier progress, named "C.A.S.T.L.E.". It's a nice mix of talking about games from the perspective of a fictional character with some little moments of seeing what the character and his enviornment is all about, like the fact that he's a subject in a highly advanced facility. Link to it will be provided all the way at the end.

Second, my personal matters have become a whole lot busier, and if to drop all the details that are still uncomfortable to me to casually disclose until it all sorts out, then the cause would be that I'm trying to ensure that this fall I would be able to finally move from my home elsewhere. VERY far away from where I'm at right now. Which means stressing out about a lot of things, like ensuring that it all happens with the least amount of issues and financial management. It's a big process for me as I've never done this before, especially on my own, so I'm frantically making sure I don't miss a thing that can screw something over.

Once it all works out, I'll see how I can approach it to talk about it to stay transparent, seeing how I will need to mention some other things by then.

The comic will be worked on whenever time and the situation allows. Personally, I hope to get the second part this year (would say sooner but the current life changing events will require to take priority before I can do that).

Until more work related to my project or some worthy animation comes in, take care of yourselves and hope I can provide some more stories for you soon!

Well, I've waited for quite some time with this but finally started posting here.

Hey, how's everyone doing? If you're seeing me for the first time, I guess it'll be appropriate to introduce myself for a bit of clarity on what you're bound to find here.

I'm a professional 2D animator trying to make her way into the depths of the career with a big ambition to make the original project idea an animated series. While that goal is still a long way ahead, I'm just trying to relocate myself in a better place for realizing the said dreams and gradually write out the project's outline, worldbuilding and etc. While it's basically a one-man army thing going on, quite a few people I've been in contact with for the past 10 years played a big role in making the story become what you might see the glimpses of today.

Sonic was the first franchise to give me that final push in storytelling and inspired, motivated me and was the reason I've found a lot of people to connect with. With that in mind, the very first thing you'll end up seeing me do is a comic set within Sonic Universe, which is meant to be both a tribute to the franchise for what it's done for me and a bridge between the previous "fan-work" phase to the original story, fragments of which you'll find here. The entire plot you'll witness is essentially the outline of the first arc of the story which will be set in anthropomorphic artstyle, within own universe and with own set of characters the main cast will end up interacting with. As a result, you'll get to see occasional glimpses of the said concept whenever I manage to pick some time to draw for it.

Animations will be few and far in between due to how much time it can take for me, as well as the fact that I basically do it on a daily basis as is and need my breaks, but whenever they pop up, they most certainly will be posted here!.

Hope you have fun going through this page!

Thank you for reading this, we'll see you soon as I slowly get the comic up to date with current postings.
